Re: computer crashing

Do your cables require the driver disc to operate and if so is there another way to load the driver(laptop does not have disc drive) I will gladly purchase one of your cables if there is a download from the site for the driver.

Re: computer crashing

I will attempt to remove the old driver and retest. I figured the new cable I bought last week would have the latest
driver but I'm not sure. I had to download the driver for this cable from the company because my laptop does not
have disc drive so I couldn't use their mini disc. If this doesn't fix ...

computer crashing

Hello Fellow MS'ers

I'm having an issue with my new(used)laptop and TunerStudio. I'm using a usb to serial adaptor to communicate with the controller and all seemed well until the computer crashes then reboots. It only happens when I'm connected to the controller and it sometimes will run for 5 ...

Re: calibrating AFR table

That would be a big relief. I finally got the car running well enough to take it down the street and all seemed well..I definetly need to do some tuning but it didn't stumble on acceleration , but lacked power for sure. Wide band also showed
pig rich at close to WOT and 15 psi boost..low 9's. Thanks ...

calibrating AFR table

Just a question and hopefully not an issue.

I was having issues with the O2 sensor reading on Megatune (8 gauges on screen) until I went over the manual again
and realized I hadn't calibrated the AFR table. So I calibrated the afr table with the engine off(used innovate LC-1 default)
and clicked on ...

Re: edis 4..rpm irratic on MT

OK...thanks Matt, I'll try that if the signal becomes irratic again. It seems to have cured itself, even during cranking
I can see a smooth rpm rather than it dropping out every revolution.

Re: edis 4..rpm irratic on MT

If you could post a data log of the problem and a copy of your MSQ file, I'll have a look at it.

Sorry Matt for the long delay. I more or less put this project on the backburner for a while and have recently started
back into it. Would it be wise to try and adjust the R56 and R52 pot to try and ...

Re: edis 4..rpm irratic on MT

Just a question.

In the configurator page on megatune, do I need to set the code variant to Bowling Grippo MSII or do I need to select the MSMedis code variant if I'm running the edis4. It looks as though the rpm drops to zero when my trigger wheel crosses the missing tooth. It cranks at approx ...

Re: edis 4..rpm irratic on MT

Hi Matt

So you are saying to connect the VR (+) wire directly to pin 24 as well as having it plugged into the edis. Do I need to change the settings in the basic ignition settings of megatune from edis to ??

edis 4..rpm irratic on MT

Hello

I just got the car started the other day and noticed the rpms In megatune are jumping around from 1500 ish to 0 ..kinda changes to fast to get an accurate rpm..but my autometer gauge shows a consistant rpm. I'm using MSII v3 2.891 code. I have the edis 4 hooked up and the car runs but I'm ...

Re: Ruined wideband o2 sensor?

What wideband O2 are you using? Is it possible you may require a free air calibration to be performed like some of Innovate WB controllers. I would unplug the controller and O2 sensor...let the engine sit for a while to clear out the exhaust fumes and reinstall. just a thought!

I don't think ...
