does OS4.1 work? i looked at Palm.com and read that OS3.5.3 is the newes the Vx could handle. the working one upgraded form OS3.5.0 to OS3.5.3 correctly, but the non working refuses to upgrade with "not enough memory" and i don't know any other way to flash the OS via hotsync, the way Palm...

yes, thats a great tip.
my other Vx makes that and it was like heck. but i found some other problems with it (can not upload anything, "not enough memory" with 7MB free out of 8MB ) so its laying around until i find a solution.

but one is working proberly so i'm not in a hurry ...

i tried without success. and i have a factory serial cradle and a serial hotsync cable, both not working.
finally i bought a Vx, working as expected

my old 1.4l K SPi has a reluctor ring fittet to the flywheel with 36-2 teeth. my idea is to replace the one missing tooth to have a 36-1 and rotate the ring to use it with EDIS
