Change to high resistance injectors???

Post by Rangerman »

I picked up a set of 40lb injectors for my 2.3 turbo. I am currently running the stock low z 35's. The new ones are 40 high z. My MS2, v3.0 has the flyback and pwm installed for the low ones. Can I change to the new ones without any mods other than programming? In reading the manual it looks ok, but I want another opinion. Thanks for the help!!

Yep, you're good to go. Just set the PWM duty cycle and such, straight from the manual, and then get your REQ_FUEL straightened out. It's not as dangerous to change from low-Z to high-Z injectors, because even if you leave everything the same it won't burn out the injectors (it'll just start and then die immediately).
