Bosch 0 280 140 516 Idle Control Valve?

Post by steve_d »

I have seen mentioned the Bosch 0 280 140 516 Idle Control Valve but am confused as to what type of devise it is and if it is really suitable.
As it is used on a number of makes common here in the UK I would expect to find one at a breakers yard.
Is it suitable?
Is there something better?
What jumpers, links, components do I need on the MS board?
And finally, what external wiring is required?

Many thanks
Steve

you have the most common bosch pwm valve out there. do the TIP120 mod as per the instructions in the manual and you're good to go.
