Injector connections...

Post by Jenko »

Just wanted to check something before I wire it in -

Will be running MSII (V3.57) on a 4 cyl engine using motorbike TB's (GSXR600) - The injectors are wired together, so will be using batch firing....Can you confirm, it's cyl 1 and 4, and 2 and 3 to be connected together for the batch firing (i.e, not 1 and 2, 3 and 4).

Thanks.

Paul.

It doesn't really matter in most cases, but yes that sounds right.

As Fridge says - that's generally correct with a standard firing order and cylinder placement. You would normally pair the cylinders that fire 360° apart on a 4-cyl. That being said, some users have reported certain engines preferring 180°, especially boxer engines. If possible leave some room in your loom to swap injectors for testing. It would be helpful to others if you report your results.
