EFI injector max temp

Post by JAM »

What kind of heat are EFI injectors capable of enduring?

What I am referring to is the temp of the injector itself; the temperature that the injector reaches created by the environment it is in while it is working.

I am looking for the highest sustainable temp the injector can tolerate eg; 300, 400, or ???

Also, can the spray nozzle tolerate more temp than the injector body and connector?

Here is the info i was given if anybody is interested..

The injector bodys are rated to 250-350 degrees depending on the body design, the tips are all metal, some with plastic shrouds, the fuel cools the tips down, they are capable of 300-400 degrees F.
