Ford IAC rpm adjustable with MSII?

I see that the EEC4 setup by DIY AutoTune has a output for the Ford IAC. Is this a full on, full off output or can you vary the duty cycle? Along with that, can you have different adjustments (one for cold idle another for AC clutch engagement etc) or is it either off or on with a single duty cycle setting?....Ken.

The EEC-IV adaptor board has a driver on it that allows you to control a Ford idle Solenoid from cold to warmup linearly. In other words, its adjustable using a graphical table when using MS2.

I have a Ford explorer that has all the bells and whistles. If you use the MS2-extra firmware you get closed loop idle operation, which means when the idle control is tuned properly, it takes a little fiddling around to get it right, but its not hard to do, and it doesn't take long, you can virtually set the RPM at any idle speed and it will stay there. I have mine set at 800rpm and as soon as the engine fires up cold it idles at 800rpm, and even when I engage the automatic transmission or when the all the windows are rolled down, or when the A/C clutch kicks in it idles at 800RPM.

Like I said, closed loop idle works if you spend a few moments to tune it, but it's worth that minor temporary inconvenience.

Start out with regular warm up PWMFidle then when you get the feel for that, switch on Closed loop.

That's the type of feedback adjustment possiblity I was hoping for. After studying many of the pigyback and standalong EFI controllers, I think the MegaSquirt would fit nicely on upcoming video project (Swapping a 5.0L into a Ford Fox platform). I think I might buy a MSII and support parts and install it in my street rod 48 Chevy with 4.9L inline EEC4 EFI 6 cyl. engine as a test mule. I can't believe I haven't read more about the Mega before now. Thanks for the info...Ken.
