ASE Enable on Hot Start - What is "hot"?

If your question is about troubleshooting, configuration, or tuning, you MUST include your processor type (MS-I or MS-II) and code version in your post. ASE Enable on Hot Start - What is "hot"?
MegaTune has an option to enable ASE on "hot starts". What is the threshold for "hot" and is there anywhere to set/change it?
