No triggersignal with MSII V3,57 (STARTED 20/2-2009)

No triggersignal with MSII V3,57 (STARTED 20/2-2009)

I bought a ready-assambled ms2 V3,57 wich i wired in my volvo 240 (b230f) None Turbo engine.

I wired the DIY harrness into the original volvo wire-harrness (?) language :) i´m swedish...
Using a standard coil (Lh2,4 system) and the hall-effect sensor is built in to the thing that divide´s spark (if u understand?)

But my Problem is that i dont have a triggersignal. (RPM)
Nothing happens in the car that indicates RPM signal, same in megatune.
i have tried to read and understand and fix this in some months now..
can someone try to help me? maybe guide me thru this?

this is what i use:
MS2 V3,57
Megatune 2,25 P3
V2,68 embedded code by B&G

An LH2.4 will need to be jumpered for VR input and you'd use the crank trigger instead. It's a 60-2 wheel. See this link for notes on how to set up a missing tooth wheel in MegaTune.

But i´m using a distributor with hall-sensor... (Triggering from there) not with the 60-2 wheel.
i think that im using 4-1 in the distributor.

If that's the distributor with the LH2.4, it will only have one tooth and is not suitable for spark control. If it's an earlier LH2.2 distributor, you will need a pull up resistor.

Ok, yes im using the earlier distributor LH2.2, so i need a 12v pull up resistor?
or what kind of resistor do i need? and where is the best place to place it?

It can also work with a 5 volt pull up - see our Volvo LH2.2 Megasquirt guide for an easy way to put the pull up inside the ECU.

Ok, one 1K resistor is already in place on the ECU. solderd on r57!?

Go to Settings -> Trigger Wheel Settings and change Trigger Wheel Teeth to zero. That should fix it.

ok, thx. i will try... but im in Norway right now for 2 weeks @ my work.
