MS2-V3: Testing Ignition with Stim

Post by patrickbrown »

I don't think my ignition is working. I have built with the hall and VR circuit. I have it jumpered to use hall circuit. I have the stim ver 2.21 with five lights. Yje IGN light stays lit regardless of RPM. Is this a software setting or did I miss something in the build?

I'm running 2.888 code.

If you change the Spark Output from Going Low to Going High or vice versa, does the LED go out?

I had it set to "Going High (Inverted)" for EDIS support. I changed it to "Going Low (Normal)" and reset the MS. The IG LED blinks now and the rate follows the RPM knob. It seems to work. I change it back to Going High.

Thanks,

Sounds like all is working. Some settings just plain don't make the light blink in a way that's perceptible without an oscilloscope.
