Autometer Fullsweep Gauge

I have a full sweep electric temperature gauge in my car. It uses a two wire sensor. I'd like to keep this gauge after installing my MS setup. Is there a way to do this with a single sensor? Maybe the sensor feeds the ECU and the ECU outputs to the gauge? I don't have a good place for a second sensor.

You'd need a good deal more information than what the PDF provides to figure out how to actually use the sensor, though that at least implies it's possible. This link may also help:

The "sensor output" of the gauge is a 0 to 5 Volt output that corresponds to the min max temperatures of your gauge faceplate. You can connect a wire from this terminal directly to the MS analog input(s). You will then have to set up the range in Megatune (sensor calibration). You don't even have to remove R7 as the output of the gauge has a sufficiently low impedance to swamp it out.

Here's a follow up question. Should I ground the coolant gauge to engine ground or sensor ground?

Optimally, connect them both to the engine ground.
