MS for dirt bike carburetted 2 stroke?

Hello,
is there any Megasquirt system I could use as a reprogrammable ignition vs rpm ecu on a 144cc carburetted 2 stroke dirt bike ?

Hello!, IÂ´m using an MS-I for the ignition on a 97cc Honda 4 stroke bike and works fine, the only thing I had to do was to build the VR input circuit (MS-II has it) in orther to get the signal from the VR sensor and also build a circuit for replacing the original CDI ignition. Good luck!

Sorry... what's the VR input circuit?
And why did you have to replace original CDI?
I just would like to understand if the OEM Kokusan CDI system is directly drivable by the MS II... thank you!

Hi!, you can see the VR circuit in the MS-II schematics page : http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/pcb.htm . I donÂ´t know that motorbike, in my case, it has a sealed ignition module and IÂ´m not sure if you can drive it with MS, perhaps with an extra circuit..

You may want to do a search for Whittlebeasts's posts, particularly in the MS Runs forum. He had one of the earliest 2 stroke setups with Megasquirt.
