VR Sensor Orientation with EDIS

Post by IMPerative »

My VR sensor is sourced from an English vehicle. It is the type that has the connector plug at 45 deg to the sensor body. Given that the sensor is magnetic and presumably has N and S poles, is there a preferred orientation to the trigger wheel.

I think you are getting confused with the orientation of the poles. Stick the sensor to a piece of steel to see. There is only 1 pole at the end of the sensor, the other pole is encased in plastic. It's not possible to orientate it "backwards" in this regard.
