does the fuel pump have to be wired thru the msII

Post by CyanJaguar »

Im mounting the relay board in the engine compartment and the fuel pump (a1000) is mounted in the trunk about 12 feet away. Im thinking maybe its not such a hot idea to run 12 feet of power wire to the relay board when I could connect it two feet to the battery.

1. what size cable are you guys running from the fuel pump to the msII
2. is it necessary to connect the fuel pump to the msII. how does the msII control the pump.

oh nevermind, I think i figured out this is just the switch for the fuel pump relay, so even if the fuel pump is wired to the relay board its still getting its power from the battery.
