There is one hose barb from the valve cover which I've connected to the TB at a barb just ahead of the throttle plate. The throttle body is from an old 2.3L 4 cyl Ford Tempo (about 50mm).
I'm guessing that there is still too much vaccuum generated there and I may be able to cure this by moving the hose connection away fron the throttle plate and closer to the air filter. I am also getting leaks from the oilpan/rear main rope seal which I am not sure if it could be related.........

Any thoughts?
Also any recomendations for an on/off idle valve for an 1800cc 4 cyl?
I am looking for something that will get me about 3-400 rpm. I have tried a couple of junkyard finds (don't remember what from

Thanks
