WBO2 sensor problem

WBO2 sensor problem
been installing MS2 with a frend on his golf, we have it starting and ideling, i have a good basemap ( i think ) for the spark, probem has come when going trying to dial the AFR's in.
it's MS2 V3 on the blue board and i'm useing tuner studio, as did on my car.
the wideband is a tec edge WB02 and it's working fine with the multimeter on it's output the voltage output is what about what i'd expect and it goes up and down as is adjust teh ve tabel. problem is MS isn't registering the O2 input. the AFR trace in tuner studio is just a flat line no matter what the input on the MS is.
the o2 input was working when i built the MS and the WBo2 unit output voltage did reach battery votage when it was first installed even tho wb lin- was connected to the ground on the unit, afterwards i removed the link from wb lin- from ground and put another wire in the loom from the main ground on the engine to wb lin- and the output on wb lin+ strated to read correctly.
what i'm wondering is have i friyed the o2 input on the ms or if that is unlikely to have killed the input what am i likely to be doing wrong in the tuner studio settings.
also while trawling the net for info, been trying to find out what pin on the cpu that the o2 line is connected to so see if the signal from the wb unit is present there. i seen meany referances to ms2 supporting dual o2 sensors, so if i have indeed fryed the o2 input is it possible to use the other ( i am presuming there are 2 inputs for dual o2 sensors )

the tec edge WBo2 box is giveing all the right outputs, seen range from 5v to lower than 1v problem is the megasquirt still dosent show the afr's ever getting leaner than 14.7:1 and when it shows 14.7:1 it's a lot leaner

It was frustrating because as I was racing down the 1/4 mile I had to keep an eye on my afr instead of letting the laptop datalog it. I was making a new VE table that night so it made it kinda difficult.
As with his, my wideband controller displays the air/fuel and the wire going to the megasquirt does have the voltages one would expect to be there but ms isn't reading anything. Some times it will sit at 12.1, some times at 14.8, but it will sit for pretty much the entire time the car is running. Any ideas where I should look next?

It used to work alright with one of the preset wideband settings but now I need to manually set the voltages and afr's.
And for anybody who has a WMS wideband and so I don't need to call the manufacturer again it's 0.5v = 10:1 and 4.5v=20:1
I'm surprised none of the preset values work because this wideband just used a bosch LSU 4.2.

There are pretty complex electronics after the sensor and I'd guess they determine the output - not the sensor itself.4T08 wrote:Got it figured out.
