Which boost reference regulator to use?

For discussing B&G MS-I/MS-II set-up and tuning of fuel parameters (including idle valves, etc.).

Which boost reference regulator to use?

I am using an aeromotive unit #13301. After the fuel pump starts right (Up to 43 psi) before I crank it it shuts off and the pressure drops down to nothing in about 1 minute. Should it 'bleed" down? Is that typical? What units are you guys using for regulators?

Also are you guys boost referencing your regulators?

I am getting an over rich condition at 12 psi boost also and was wondering If this regulator may be the problem as well?

I've seen a couple aftermarket regulators that bleed down like that after you shut the pump off. Ones that bleed down almost instantly are trouble, and often are a sign it won't hold pressure. But if it holds pressure OK with the engine running, I wouldn't worry about it.
