Relay Board and Wiring Harnesses

Post by Bzltyr »

I bought the "MSHarness12" from DIYAutoTune. I am also buying the Relay Board. Do I need the "LGWirebund"? I am thinking that I need the LG and not the MS if I use the Relay Board.

I got my copy of Matt's book and it has relieved me of many of my fears of getting this right.

The LG-WireBund is pretty much our regular harness with the connector cut off. It is possible to cut the harness short and make a relay cable out of it by soldering a DB37 on the other end, then use the rest to attach to the relay board's screw terminals. Normally you'd use the MSRelayCable to connect the MS to the relay board and the large wire bundle to wire the MS to the engine.
