Battery low indication

Post by Emfinger »

On the TunerStudio dashboard the volt meter swings wildly between <7 and > 15 volts. The input voltage is a solid 14 volts but when I measure across H1 I get 1.5 volts. This test was made on the bench with only battery and ground connected to the MS-II V3.0 MB Ver. 2.89000

I failed to mention that I don't know how to correct this, has anyone been there?

What exactly are you using to power the MS with?

My error the meter I was using is nuts (I'm using a quality power supply and a good meter is calling it 14.5 and stable. I am not connected to a Stim just power and ground. The voltage at H1 is 2.4 volts and stable. The ECU is sending messages like crazy so the Tuner Studio reports battery low (flashing) and a wildly swinging dash board volt meter.

Could be corrupted firmware - try reloading the code, but do not load any tune files.
