Trouble setting up a good VE table
I installed megasquirt 2 years ago and got it running, but not well. I finally have the time to work on my car and I want this to work.
As far as I can tell I need to set up my VE table better to keep from running very lean. Can anyone please help.
I am currently running:
350 motor 8.5:1 compression w/ manual transmission
mild cam (comp camsXE268H-14; gross lift in-.477 exh-.480; duration at .050 in-224 exh-230)
Twin 52mm throttle body
Stealth Ram Intake
3" exhaust w/ shorty headers
MS2 running 2.6.ini
Stock LT-1 injectors at 30 psi
I have analyzed the data on megalogviewer and I see that I am very lean for most of my datalog but besides being off throttle its just dead lean. My biggest issue is how much should I start adjusting my VE table to correct?
I am attaching my current msq and a data log of a few minute drive around the block. Any help or pointers are appreciated.
Thank you,
Jared

Re: Trouble setting up a good VE table
It is a narrow band O2 sensor. and I will try megalogviewer set up a map for me.WASyL wrote:my setup on 383 SBC with similar injectors and cam my idle looks just a bit more rich and all the way up rich over 50%, launch datalog, drive for about 20 mins with low and mid RPM, then do analyze with MegaLogViewer and that should help you, this is easest way to get drivable map, is it narrow or wide band lambda set up ?
best regards
Thanks
Re: Trouble setting up a good VE table
I dataloged a 20 min drive and had megalogviewer do its magic. Attached is my msq with the new VE table from megalogviewer. It looks funny to me so I was hoping that someone could glance over it before I try to run the motor on this VE table.
Thanks all,
