There are three main boards in common use. Here's how to identify them:
Green with round components on legs - V2.2.
Navy blue with round components on legs - V3.0
Navy blue with rectangular components stuck to the board - V3.57
Then there's a 40 pin socket. What's in that will determine the MS version.
Big 40 pin chip - MS1
Small blue circuit board - MS2
Big white circuit board - MS3
I believe RS Autosport made a set of boards that went in between the processor that plugged into the 40 pin socket and the main board - these things often show up on Neons. There are a number of other add-on boards out there as well.
