Knock Sense

Post by ScottWerks »

When using the KnockSense unit in conjunction with the MSII V3.0 code version 2.905 do I need to install the 1K resistor and Zenor diode and jumper IAC1B to JS4 OR just do the jumper?

Thanks
Scott

Just FYI - It appears to work fine without the extra componets and just adding the jumper!

The reason for the extra parts is to protect the processor. If something happens to that signal wire and you wind up with +12v to that JS4 pin, you'll be buying a new MS2 card.
