TPS was working on STIM, now not...

Post by kccampro »

My newly assembled MSII was testing fine on the STIM when I finished it last weekend but as of this morning the TPS POT is no longer responding. I'm not sure if it's the STIM or the ECU (prefer it was the STIM). All other POTs appear to be responding correctly according to TS. However, the TPS value just hoovers around 29% and doesn't respond to adjusting the POT. I'm very much a newbie and this is my first attempt an EFI so there is much to learn. Any advice?

Update... I put a multimeter on the POT to see if maybe the resistance reading was static even when the POT was adjusted. But it tested just like the other POTs leading me to believe it was the ECU. Then, I plugged it back in and ran TS and the TPs was working again so I'll just have to kep my eye on it.
