MsI V2.2 L1 and L2 Choke / Inductor replacement

Post by gon »

Hi all.
I was trying to tidy up my old MS1 V2.2 and I damaged L1 (Inductor 1uH, M8388-ND, 70F106AI-RC).

I am living in the UK and I was trying to find a replacement on "RS components" store or Maplin.

I would like to know if I can just order any choke of 1uh capable of 2Amp or does it have to be more specific than that ?

Cheers,
Gon.

Digikey has a UK presence, or at least a website, and they deliver pretty fast.

Hi, trakkies. thanks for the help , the problem with digikey uk is the delivery cost, 12 quid to deliver ..... while RS and Maplin have stores nearby.
Cheers.

If you can find one with the same printed spec from RS etc, I'd give it a try. Maplin are pretty useless for components these days - try also CPC and Rapid - although all have postage charges for small sales. Sadly, my nearest RS counter costs more in petrol to get to then buying from Digikey.
