Should the V3.57 draw more current than a V3 when simply powered up via a Stim?

It shouldn't be a major difference - how much current draw are we talking about?

I have a little 400 mA desktop variable supply which I've been using for ages. It will power a fully populated V3 board plus stim forever, but with this v3.57, it shuts down after a few minutes.

That is a bit unusual. Any mods on the board or anything?

No - as it left the factory. I'll do some measurements tomorrow.
