Hey all

I've got a MSII on my 1998 Dodge Avenger. V6 EDIS- LC-1 with digital gauge.

I just recently got the engine running. Although not very well.

Here's what's going on. The afr according the digital gauge reads 20-1-22-8 with the engine off 21-22 with the engine on.

Tuner Studio reads 7.9-8.9 with the engine off and 7.9 with the engine on.

The engine explodes to life and then hovers at 1800 or so RPM for a few seconds before dying. I can hold the engine running by feathering the throttle for a little while but will eventually die.

Any ideas?

Have you calibrated your AFR table under the Tools menu? (ie. Tools -> Calibrate AFR Table)

If you connect to the LC-1 with LogWorks, what reading do you see there?

When I connect it I get the same weird reading- engine is off.

Maxed out afr 22.39

I uploaded a quick 10 second log. Maybe you can see what's going on.

Also, here is a quick vid I took so you can see tunerstudio's readings and what my gauge is reading.

When I switch on without starting - and leave the wideband to heat up so I get a reading - it says 'lean' (Tech Edge unit) meaning it is out of range.

That video shows your WB unit and TS showing the idle mixture to be super weak. What happens if you temporarily enrich the mixture to get a more usual reading? Perhaps by altering the <req. fuel>?
