Getting there, Just one question

Post by Bluehaze »

Hi all,
Ive had my engine running for a week now, and every time I run it (Still stationary, in shed) I feel I'm edging closer to an Ideal tune for what I want, which is basically a nice smooth running engine with just a little more poke. Initially, I have been working on getting the idle down to about 800 and steady. The steady was the trickyest, firstly changing my staging from two to just one squirt per cycle, changing my ildle PW from 2.3 to 4.6- trying to eliminate injector latency issues. This made little or no difference. What did help with the Map/RPM/PW cycle of oscillation was setting the idle area of the fuel map fairly flat. Even better was turning the edges of that corner of the fuel map up a tad :? ..-Is this OK? Im just looking to see if what Im up to here is normal.
OK maybe two questions. I know at Idle my EGO feedback is dis-abled, as it should be, the thing from my datalog which I don't get is my AFRTarget1 trace, which is reading 4.7? Assuming a typo on my behalf, I've looked and looked and can't find where I have set anything but 14.7, 0.47 volts or whatver is on the AFR table. Any Ideas?

Bh,

If it works, then yes, it is okay.
