Relay boay harness... Is this right?

Post by RacnJsn95 »

Back in action after taking a few months off to gather engine parts disassemble, inspect, install new stuff, etc etc...

I made my MS to relay board harness this last weekend, and I'm hoping it's right... I followed the instructions on this page: http://www.bgsoflex.com/mspower/relay-cable.html, esentially soldering the wire from the corresponding pin to the same # pin on the other connector...

If this is correct, I think I'm ok, although I do have one question... The instructions say pin #19 is important because it's the return wire for the sensor... The MS harness I bought from DIY did not have a wire on pin 19, but did have a black w/ wht stripe wire on pin 17, that I soldered to pin 17 on the relay board connector... Is this right?

Pin 19 on the *relay board* is used as a sensor return. The relay board's pin 19 may connect to any MS ground pin, but pin 19 on the relay board cannot be left floating.

So if I got you right, I can just solder a wire from the relay board connector pin 19 to any of the unused pins on the MS connector that the instructions say can be used for additional ground wires?
