MSD6A vs inductive timing light
Is it possible to use a timing light with an inductive pickup to check the timing of spark generated with MSD6a?
The reason I ask is that at idle MSD6a generates 3 sparks per combustion stroke. It seems to me that my timing light triggers randomly on any of these 3 sparks because the TDC mark on the pulley is jumping all over the place.
Any advice appreciated.

Is it possible to easily and temporarily disable the multispark function?

That is a good plan! 'Cause it should!DonTZ125 wrote:Does it give you a clean reading after 3k rpm?
I doubt it very much. There are no controls on the box to be able to do so.DonTZ125 wrote:Is it possible to easily and temporarily disable the multispark function?
