Help with my miss

Post by Whitethunder »

Ok, please look at my screenshot and tell me what can be causing a miss at 3k when I am driving the car. Looks like I will have to email it to you. Tuner studio runs fuel and stock computer runs timing. Car is a 3.4 Camaro. Car starts and drives beautifully. about 20 mins into driving she hits 3k and a small pop happens. Goes into limp mode and the car has 2nd gear starts and almost dies. No factory trouble code shown.

Based on this Datalog when I had the issue.
My MAP and TPS are nosiey. why would map fluctuate between negative a positive? How do I correct
Lean spot where the marker is. This is odd. I increased the fuel there we'll see what happens.
I don't have map dot or TPs AE turned on, they are disabled for VE tuning. Could I need a longer fuel lag factor?
Could this be voltage related. Wondering if I need a bigger alternator. I have a perfectly working 105 A alternator and new battery. Voltage is almost 14 while idle, I will measure while driving and see if it dips.

Send me your email and I will send the screenshot over. Thanks!

It would be better if you attached the full data log, not a screen shot, and the MSQ as well. Below the Save - Preview - Submit buttons, you will find a pair of tabs marked "Options" and "Upload Attachment." Click the Upload Attachment tab. Then click the "Browse" button that appears. A file open dialog box will pop up. Select the file, then click Open. Then fill in the description in the field below the file name. Once you have all that, click Add the File. Repeat this, starting with "Browse," to add more files. Once you have these all attached, you can enter your post and the files will be attached.
