Different resistor values in VR circuit V3.0

Post by yaygasm »

Hi everybody, newbie here, just trying to troubleshoot a non functioning VR circuit. I've noticed that some of the resistor values listed here http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/vradjust.htm in this picture...

...are different than listed in the assembly guide (http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/V3assemble.htm). Specifically,
- R44/R45/R46/R54 are 1k in the schematic, 10k in the assembly guide
- R53/R48 are 100k in the schematic, 10k in the assembly guide

Just wondering if there's anybody out there that can shed some insight on this.

y,

You might want to read the notes below the same diagram here: http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/pcb.htm

Dunno why that schematic hasn't been altered. All the V3 boards (that I've seen) for many a year are supplied with the later values.

Thanks, there's a lot of good information on that page.

Okay, if that's the case I guess I'll look for problems elsewhere, thanks.
