No connection
I can't get any connection to my ecu.
I'm using a usb/serial cable with the driver set to com1 with 115200 baud and no buffer
I have no idea of the software version as i bought it second hand.
It's build as a pnp ecu for Saxo VTS and 106 Gti's TU5J4 single plug engine.
What am i missing or doing wrong?

Re: No connection
But usually, the first step is a port check. To do this check, you'll need the program portcheck.exe. If you don't have a copy, download it here:
http://www.DIYAutoTune.com/downloads/tu ... tCheck.zip
Power up the Megasquirt and connect it to your PC. You do not need to open the case and should not put the boot jumper in place for this test. Close TunerStudio if it's running, and run the portcheck.exe program. When this program starts, it will scan the available COM ports. Then post a screen shot of what you get, along with a picture of the ECU circuit board.

Cheers Matt.Matt Cramer wrote:First, can you post some pictures of the circuit board on this ECU? This will give me a better idea of what we are dealing with and how to troubleshoot it.

I'm running with the buffer off and changed the speed to 115200 baud

I've been fiddling with the drivers, installed Prolific v1.10.0 and ran the check chip app, which are saying it's a PL-2303 RA chip on my serial cable.
