Crane HI 6 ignition box

Post by gto66 »

I am installing a MS 2 3,0 on my gto 455. My question, is there any advantage to using a crane HI 6 box with MSD ready to run distributor and MS 2 over just using the MSD distributor and the MS2? I currently have the crane HI6 and MSD distributor running my ignition. Thanks for any help.

Capacitive discharge boxes can give you more spark energy at high RPM than what you can get with a single coil and a BIP373 driving it.
