directo coil ignition issue

Post by Keith1365 »

I have been running MS2 fuel only for a few years with no issue. Now working on ignition. Controller has been wired correctly for direct coil and has the proper full up parts. Works on the sim. When i hook up the ignition wire to the negative side of the coil and run 12v to the positive side I cant get any spark. I have a crank trigger for ignition input but cant get it to spark to save my soul.
What do I need to check next or is there someone close to Illinois to lend a hand.
thanks

Are you seeing an RPM reading on TS when attempting a start?

Will have to be some more testing but for now the car has been put back to fuel only. Power Tour starts next week so back to the tried and true fuel only mode. Not sure on a lower horsepower normally aspirated engine how much I will gain by converting to computer controlled ignition.
