I am wondering if MS is compatible with this particular coolant temp sensor? I didnt see it listed on. I have the one that is recommended prt # SU109, but it is a bit wider in diameter which would require me to drill the thermostat housing to fit it in.

Just wondering if anybody has used this coolant temp sensor without using easytherm to calibrate it.

The car is an 88 mazda mx6 GT. And this GM coolant temp sensor prt #SU4122 is a direct fit for replacing the factory sensor.

Cool. :D

I'll look up the specs in a bit. Ill check to tomorrow if it falls within the given parameters. Thanks for your response.

The reason behind using this particular sensor is because that is what is used for the mazda miata for the electromotive TEC. It fits in all Mazda thermostat housings and would make for an easy install.

I checked the resistancance of both and I got about 1600-1700 ohms between the two under the same temperature.(down here in TX its pretty warm) I think it was about 80+ degrees outside.

But both were giving me the same reading.
