Does anyone have any tips on how I could easily remove a 1.9L Ford EDIS 36-1 wheel and sensor in the junkyard? The front of the block is so close to the passenger side frame rail and inner fender that you can barely get a hand in there. My 1/4" ratchet with the proper T-27 (could be T-26) torx bit won't clear. So I can't get the sensor or the crank pulley off.
Also does anyone know what size the crank pulley nut is? I've got about 30 cars in junkyards all within 20 minutes of my house and I've been trying for weeks to dissasemble one - then it got crushed.
I need an easy trick to remove the Crank pulley and wheel sensor.

Ive never sen the torx type attachment.
I've never pulled the crank pulley, but have pulled a few sensors. They are truly a PITA to remove. A proper torx bit turned with a 1/4" wrench will work. I've run EDIS modules with a number of different sensors, and never had a problem, so don't feel like you are locked into the Ford part. Look for other VR sensors such as crank angle sensors, cam sensors, ABS wheel sensors, etc. Don't forget the harness bit from whatever you sensor you choose.
