Post by rxheaven13b »

Can any one here tell me how to hook up the TPS? Wire colors or how to read it with a meeter? If i hook it up wrong will i chance damaging my MS? Of corse I'll bench test it first before trying to start the car with it in place not knowing if i did it right.

The throttle position sensor is a variable resistor. One end is grounded, the other end is connected to reference voltage (5V). The third is the wiper, which sends a signal back to the MegaSquirt. See the MegaManual for details. Grab the wiring diagram for your vehicle, and the wire colours on your TPS will be shown (pg 50-25).
