Can fuel injector coils wear and give poor idle and output?

Post by mxmang »

Hello there. I am under the impression my injectors from 1990 are wearing and whatnot....this seems like a simple question but....

Do injectors suffer from fatigue ? I would assume they would after several years of usage with warm ups and cool downs...

My idle is pretty solid but it still wanders and hunts and runs rough sometimes. I am wondering if it is mostly due to the fact that the injectors are worn out.

Any advice would be great as I would like to improve the idle performance of my engine! :)
