Northstar CoP

Post by Philbur120 »

I currently have my northstar running on a ford edis 8 setup, and well I want to try and get the coil on plug system working to get rid of the ugly spark plug wires. I tried searching these forums, but I find it a bit difficult to navigate. I did read someone had accomplished it using the edis system, but not much info was given on it. Can anyone help me out??

Thanks,
Phil

you could wire 8 coils (in 4 pairs) to run a wasted spark Pseudo CoP setup. you'd still need to pair the coils to complimentary cylinders, but each coil would only be firing one cylinder. aside from the GPIO or sequencer, i dont think theres any provisions for CoP

Ford Mustang Cobra COP coils can work with an EDIS module if the coils are wired in series.
