Second map sensor?

Post by front_range »

I see the option in the tuning setup for the second baro sensor, but have not been able to find any info on connections to add the second sensor (I'm using a V3). Is it undocumented, or did I miss something?? TIA

Sigh... Now I'm really confused. I added the second sensor but the readings I'm getting seem really off. At my elevation (7000FT ASL) I should see around 78kPa. In Megatune, I have a Baro reading at the top of the real time display window that reads 163 kPa, a baro reading in the corrections window of the real time display that reads 71, and a MAP reading of 78 (this is on my bench with a stim, so map=baro). I'm getting the exact same readings when I set the MSII for initial readings, it just doesn't continiously update the baro reading at the top of the real time display. So why is the top reading of the real time display so far off at 163 kPa vs a real value of 78 regardless of which sensor I'm reading off of???

Try recalibrating your sensors under Tools -> Sensor Calibration and see if that fixes it.

I've tried the default values, and the 10 & 260 values (about the same as the defaults) and it changes nothing. The MAP reading of 78 is correct, so I don't understand why the baro reading is so high even when I'm using "initial reading", it seems the sensor is being read correctly, but displayed wrong in the real time display's baro measurement.

OK, I'm an confused person. I reloaded megatune and then the initial MAP boro readings started to read correctly, so I started looking at the second sensor and realized I'd ordered a 4115 instead of a second 4250. Doh! So I changed the calibration values and now my real time display is dead on.
