the car pulls good off the line and at around 4 k it feels and sounds like it hit boost or vtech, and pulls like a a cuddled ape but the midrange feels like it struggles

would i look at my timming map or fuel for this?

Could be either. Post a datalog and MSQ and we might be able to spot something.
