Need help! No spark!!
I will be running a coil directly from my ms2 v3.0, and have a couple of questions;
I have a bosh distributor with a hall sending unit with 3 wires from a vw, the ms2 wiring diagram only shows I should wire pin #2 and pin #24, but I understand that the hall sending unit has a (+), (-), and signal to computer, do I need the 3 wires? Or just the 2.. when I connected to the tuner studio I did not get any "pulse width" readings.
Also, I seem not to have any spark, but when I test with the stim, everything works on the program..
I have wired up the high current ignition driver on my ms2 v3.0 board
I have;
Installed R43
Left R57 unpopulated
Installed Q16 with mica insulator and heat sink grease
Jumpered;
IGBTIM to JS10
IGBTOUT to IGN
I also installed a pull-up resistor..
Now my question on this is;
Am I right by having the pull-up resistor? If so.. It is mentioned that my spark output will be reversed (what does this mean?)
Thanks for the help!

Re: Need help! No spark!!
Do you have a scope to look at the signal from the dist? That is the best way to see what is missing.
Hope that helps. Like I said, I am just thinking out loud, I have no experience with that distributor..
