How to determine the idle valve type

Post by Martinclan »

I am at the early stages of injecting an air cooled two cylinder engine as used in the Citreon 2cv. I am planning on using the throtle body from a Daewoo Matiz for no good reason other than someone else has already used this. Does anyone know how I can find out the type of idle valve that it uses?

Cheers

How many wires connect to it?

2 or 3, probably PWM, 4, 5, or 6, it's a stepper.
