Re: Installing MK-HEI on MS2/V3 board w/HEI 8 pin
I am looking for the necessary steps to power the module and control all the timing in MS2. If I need to use the MK-HEI kit, I have it. I have the distributor wired to the relay board and the coil ready for power.
This is installed in a 1971 Chevelle with a 383 and edelbrock proflow intake.
I've had this running with a 7 pin large cap HEI on the tach. wire. Now I want switch to the 8 pin small cap with full timing control.
Thank You for the help.

Yup, I see it now... 'B' on the ignition module. Looks like I need to modify my relay board... Thanks.Matt Cramer wrote:The FIDLE relay is hooked to 12 volts, not 5 like the relay in the diagram.

Correct on both counts. You split it and run it to both.kccampro wrote:One thing that I am unclear about is pin #26 on the DB37 is the Vref to the TPS according to the v3 wiring diagram. But on the HEI schematic posted above pin #26 goes to the ignition module.
