Rasberry Pi in-car MS connected computer idea

I know Im new here and this may have been raised before, but I learned about these cheap little 12v pc's called 'Rasberry Pi' they even have a composte video output.

Would it be possible to write a autorun prog. that runs on the SD card in the raspberry pi that would boot it to megatune each time the car is started and then could be used with an in dash monitor to display MS parameters or even perform adjustments?

seems doable with a bit of coding...

If you're somewhat proficient with Linux, it should be quite doable, see Raspberry Pi and MegaTunix, the same guy made THIS VIDEO.
