MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I purchased a diy autotune unit but im having trouble making it run off mstunerstudio or megatune...

I have gone through the manual but must be missing something

I have tested my serial x usb cable using hyper terminal and it loops back

I hooked my ecu to the computer and have the stimulator plugged in and a brand new 9v battery installed on the stim.ted
I have my cable set to COM1
Started megatune 2.25
communications/setup and made sure my settings were for com1 timer interval 50 data rate 9600
went to configuator new project and thats where I get stuck..

Any help would be appreciated.

Any reason you're using MegaTune? I'd recommend TunerStudio; it automatically detects what firmware you're using, and does a lot of the configuring automatically.
