Re: How to trigger BOSCH Monojetronic A2.2 ECU without Coil?

Hello Duncan,
thank you very much for explaining the principle of the circuit.
I hope to get it tuned (with a little help from my EE friend)...

Could you please give an example how the look like. Which ...

Re: How to trigger BOSCH Monojetronic A2.2 ECU without Coil?

Hello jakobsladderz,
thank you for reply.
The project is parking so I haven't continued to get the ECU triggered.

I'm not an EE so it's difficult for me to develop a circuit by my self.

You think I can feed a wall wart transformer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wall_wart by an OEM ignition module ...

How to trigger BOSCH Monojetronic A2.2 ECU without Coil?

Hello,
I'm going to replace dizzy+mechanical ignition with another ignition 'module' (DIY-CDI) and later the CDI should be fired by MSnEDIS. Engine is a TU3M (KDY) of PSA (Peugeot&Citroen), a couple of European SPI engines of late 80ties and early 90ties use the same ignition and EFI setup.

During ...

Hello James,
my local dealer isn't able to order VND5N07 (obsolete) or VB921 (not easy to get in EU). Could you tell me a replacement type for such a PWM circuit? Maybe a IRF530 (rated up to 14A ...

Hello Scott,
thank you very much for introduction into Toyotas ignition world. Scanned picture and DMM results looking promising so I'll try to fire those modules in the next days. It should work pretty simple with MS Stim.
Do you expect this is a smart module (dwell included)? Haven't used dwell ...

Hello Scott,
thank you very much! My COPs look very similar your upper COP (picture).
Geometry is slightly different. Diameter at anti vibration rubber is 40-45mm, coil Ø ~23m, long lenght is ~122mm, short one is ~30mm, distance to plug surface is ~17mm.
Best of all, socket is the same ...

Toyota COP 90919-02243 (RAV?) pin order required

Hello Toyota guys,
I've got 4 of those Toyota COPs, the mechanic was not sure if/what was the reason that the had to be replaced, do you know something about pin order (4 pins)? There are no numbers to see.
I checked www for pics but couldn't find, hope my description is clear enough.
The very ...

Hello cylinder pressure guys,

some time ago I found really promising pressure sensors at www.optrand.com . I also read a paper (see below) which calls them 'low cost sensors'. The reference sensor was a Kistler type.

It must be a different world, a salesman I asked for prices sent this:

Hello Roger,

thank you. ET4 and start adress F500 worked perfect, but I was dissapointed about Steinhart-Hart approximation. More: viewtopic.php?t=2421

Recompiling with ET4

Hello Roger,

I'd like to recompile a modded code (like mskpa.asm but #100T as refernce instead of #65T --> allways open loop (n/a) http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=1233). Lance was so kind to compile it for me, but I use BOSCH and DENSO sensors.

Is it necessary to use the P&E stuff or is it ...
