Re: Bluetooth setting.

Thanks Phil.
One last question, (hopefully).
I can't use a gender changer directly to my Ms2. Due to it's location, I must use a short cable of some sort. Can i use a standard cable with a gender changer on the end of it?
Does the TxD pin from my BT connect to the RxD pin on the MS, and vise-versa?

Re: Bluetooth setting.

Thank you.
Do I need to make a cable to tie the send and receive lines together from my MS2 if I don't have jumpers soldered in place already?

Bluetooth setting.

I've had exactly the same adapter that is for sale on your site, for a few years now.
Could you tell me what settings are needed to hook it to my MS2? I don't think my MS2 is wired as shown in the MegaManual, under Bluetooth, however.
Do I need a special cable, or just a gender changer? Do I need ...

Re: FPR... is vacuum used in TBI application?

Exception to this is if i was running boost and needing the fuel pressure to rise 1:1 with boost. Im planning mine out now and i have to update my fuel pressure regulators in each of my tbi units.
FWIW, we installed a RRFPR between the return line on a TBI and the tank, and it was able to alter ...

I believe they were purchased from the same company that sells the fuel rail stock.

Re: Suggestions for Automatic Mixture Control Settings

I suggest using Megalog Viewer, (MLV), to tune your VE table.
It goes like this:
1 Drive and datalog.
2 Run datalog through MLV and let it adjust your VE table, based, of course, on your AFR table.
3 Upload new MSQ.
4 Repeat as needed

Alternatively, you can purchase a full version of Tunerstudio ...

Re: Logging fuel pressure

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to trying this on my MS2.
Did I read correctly that this code only works with TS and not MT?

Re: Logging fuel pressure

The standard code samples the spare ADC channel and logs it just like everything else. All you need to do is connect the fuel pressure signal from your sensor to the spare ADC input. It's not that complicated, you might be over thinking it.

It does? COOL! I've definitely been guilty of over ...

Just got it to work a few weeks ago.

It's awesome.......

Are you running MS2? Was there anything special you had to do to MT, or MLV, to get it to work? What port did you tie it into?
Hope all the questions don't bother you, but I'm anxious to do ...

Re: Adding a fuel pressure sensor to my MS2

I only had MS-I at the time, but myk777 did exactly what you want to do:

Thanks for the response. My concern is that all of the code I see is for MS1 or MS2-Extra, and not for MS2. Certainly I can't be the first to do this, but I'll be ...

Re: E85 fuel map.

Actually, you wouldn't need several different VE tables. You could just change the Req_fuel setting or increase/decrease the entire VE table at one time. MT has built in calculators that will shift the entire table by a certain number or percentage.

Re: E85 fuel map.

The size of the lines wont allow me to install it in the main supply line. I need to support upwards of 1200hp and the 5/16" line on the output of the sensor is way too small for that.
You could add an extra, low pressure, fuel pump, with a continuous loop back to the tank, and the sensor inline ...

Re: Adding a fuel pressure sensor to my MS2

I have considered using an oil pressure sender for a while now, but I didn't find an affordable version that would send a 0-5v signal. Ethanol shouldn't hurt it at all.

The Autometer fuel pressure sending units I looked up cost more than the AEM setup, and didn't have a pigtail.

Re: Adding a fuel pressure sensor to my MS2

That I don't have - there is a write-up on the MS2/Extra site that migth be close enough, but I haven't tried it myself with B&G code.
