Auxiliary Air Regulator

Post by 73Inka2002 »

Can anyone recommend a good vehicle to pull an aux air regulator off of in a junk yard? Maybe a car that's prevalent and has the regular located in a convenient location? I looked around last Sunday but couldn't find one. I was looking mainly at E30 BMWs and other German vehicles. I'm assuming now that the E30 isn't old enough?

Thanks,
Robert

I think you'll find those on any vehicle with Bosch CIS injection. A lot of European cars in the 70's and early to mid 80's used them for example, any fuel injected pre-1988 watercooled VW.

The Audis b2,b3,c2,c3 (mid/late 80) with fuel injected engines also have them, look underneath the plenum.
