Ford TFI

Post by thecrew2999 »

i want to first thank Matt Cramer hes been very helpful.

question i am having is on the TFI ignition page i am going threw the steps to get the v3 main board ready for the TFI setup and i am at this step...

V3.0 main board:

* Use the Hall/optical/points input circuit, in step #50 of the V3 assembly guide, but:
o Use a 1k resistor in series with the ignition input coming from the TFI. Do this by pacing a 1K Ohm resistor in the main board location marked "D2" (instead of the jumper you would normally put there), and

what watt is this 1k resistor?

thanks

Can't go wrong with 1/4 watt; that's what we typically use.
